Cartecay River Guide covers the Cartecay River in Gilmer County, Georgia. Use the form for corrections and questions about the guide. We pass questions about homes to Gold Peach Realty, which publishes it.
Corrections
Found a wrong price, a changed season or a place that has closed? Tell us which page, and include a link to your source. We check every correction against the source before we change the page, then update its checked date.
River conditions
We can’t answer questions about how the river is running today or whether a float is open. Whether an outfitter runs on a given day is the outfitter’s call, so call Cartecay River Experience at 706-531-4746 in season. For the current flow, check the USGS gage page or our water levels page.
Homes and land
Buying or selling near the river? We pass those questions to Gold Peach Realty. Its phone and email are on the card above, and living on the Cartecay lists the county offices for permits, floodplain and septic questions.
